Sea Stones, LLC, is based in Windham, New Hampshire, close to the rocky New England beaches and rivers that shape the stones used in the company’s designs. Engineer/furniture maker Arra David and artist Anne Johnson partnered in 2004 to bring the beauty of nature into homes, while still leaving America’s shores and forests unchanged. With permission, the company collects stones from private beaches and rivers. When a stone is taken, it’s always replaced by a new stone that’s been purchased from a quarry to harvest under the New England water for future gatherers. David and Johnson believe that bringing natural materials indoors as functional art keeps the world connected with Mother Earth. Sea Stones was a finalist in the 2012 Eco Choice Awards at the New York International Gift Fair.
